Bobby Hardy was a close friend of mine, as we just lived two doors away. Even though there were 4 years difference, Bobby, and his brother David, and I grew up together. Bobby and his girl friend even invited me to the movies with them once! I really hated to hear of his death in the plane at the time. It was probably my first friend to die.
This past weekend, June 15-16, 2012, we held our 50th reunion, and that is when I found that David Hardy has passed away. That was another blow, even though I had lost contact with him over the years. Bobby and David are back together again, and I hope they are raising the roof of Heaven, as I know how they used to be when they got together. Motorcycles, Model A's stripped down, and generally daring. RIP Bobby and David.
