She was a wonderful mother and friend and a strong fighter---she battled Cancer so graciously for so many years knowing how it was going to end. Never did she complain.

Carol Vaught Warren
Greenville--Funeral services for Carolyn Vaught Warren, 52, of Greenville, a secretary, were at 2 p.m. today at Mortimer Funeral Home chapel, Greenville. She died August 24, 1993 at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville. Bruial was in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Greenville.
Mrs. Warren was a lifelong resident of Greenville. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Owen Warren of Greenville; one daughter, Carolyn (Lyn) Douglas Warren of Greenville; and one sister, Sue Cole of Greenville.
Visitation was from noon until 2 p.m.today at the funeral home.
